California Fun

We flew from Austin to Long Beach because it was cheaper than DFW. The boys were perfect and never cryed or fussed. I guess Jet Blue knows what they are doing when they have TVs in front of every seat. Ammon watched animal planet the entire time, and he loved it!
When we landed we got to walk out onto the tarmac. Right when I stepped off the plane I remembered the perfect weather of California. The cool air was so refreshing and the entire time we were there it never got over 96 degrees or so.

Despite the lack of space the boys and Bryce had a grand time wrestling with Jeff. What a fun dad!

Friends ... but Like Family

Our best friends from college brought their kids to come stay with us for a weekend. We love getting together and the kids have so much fun!
Play Dough Time

Bed Time Sleepover!

Dinners were like a thanksgiving feast. Doesn't Jeff look so enthused? I don't think he wants five kids anytime soon. Hee Hee

Swimming Fun!

Wallball Anyone?

Thanks Hart family we had a blast! Come again soon!

Potty Trained in 3 Days?

Well day one Brandon went through 7 pair of underware. Day two ... 2 underware. And today...so far... 0 underware!. Yesterday he even got out poopy. I was actually dreading teaching Brandon to use the potty because Ammon had such a difficult time, but I guess he was ready!
We have spent the last three days playing together in the front room right next to the bathroom. Every 10 mins or so I would take Brandon into the bathroom and have him try. On the second day he could take off his own underware. It was a lot of work for a little guy. By 7pm he was asleep on the floor. He has even shown a little independence by saying "Mommy get out of here!" when I am watching to see if he actually went or not.

Puzzle Mania

Ammon has officially graduated from preschool puzzles to big kid ones. He can complete this 100 piece puzzle almost all by himself. Way to go Ammon!

New Calling

About a year and a half ago I was called to be the choir director, music chairman, and sacrament chorister in our ward. I was very overwhelmed and scared. I didn't feel qualified or have enough confidence being up in front of other talented singers. Every time I lead the choir in a special musical number I was sick and in the bathroom the hour before. Well the last time the choir sang I was not sick!!!!! It was actually enjoyable and I realized that I had grown and was now comfortable!.
So of course.....a few weeks ago I was given another calling. I am now first counselor in the primary. I am now learning how to be good at something else. Isn't it great how the Lord wants us to be multi-talented and stretches us?
Just a note*The new person called to be the choir director is scared out of her mind too! HeeHee

Reunited

We invited the little girl I used to babysit to the pool. The boys were in heaven playing with her. They miss her so much. She is like a little sister to them.

Crown Moulding

Jeff's parents also helped us finish crown moulding in our master bedroom. The room had been half done for about a year. Don't you hate when you start something and then leave one detail undone forever? Well now it is complete and I love the elegant feeling the room has now.
